I love this--this is slicker version of the problem than I've seen before. It manages to hide the extra square in a very clever way. (Just because something looks like a triangle doesn't mean it is a triangle...) I need to save this.
Just happened across your blog while perusing who had "math teacher" listed. Hope the math teacher thing is going well; I thought about teaching high school a year or two ago, but opted to stay with college.
